Our adventure in Austria started on Sunday in Lambach. We got to know our hosts and the school where they attend here in the town and we had the chance to participate in different activities in which we got to know each other. There are students from Austria, Poland, Cyprus, Greece and Romania!
 
Plus, we shared some of their traditions like eating “wurst” and the typical dances of each of the countries that are involved in the project.
 
Later, in the afternoon, we were invited to an awesome barbecue by the families that are hosting us here in Lambach. We even ate marshmallows!
 
Furthermore, in one of the activities that the school organized, we did a tour around the monastery and we finished it with a medieval handwriting workshop in which we practised our skills with ink and feather as the monks used to do in the past.
 
During this week, we have also visited other villages around Lambach like Gmunden, Wels, Mondsee, where the movie “The sound of music” (Sonrisas y lágrimas) was filmed, and Salzburg.
 
We have had a really good and warm weather and we are having a blast with the students from the other countries. It is sad to say goodbye to them because we became really good friends but we know we will see them again in Barcelona when some of them visit us in November.
